Altrad Fort develops, produces and sells from Tiel. The complete range of wheelbarrows and light transport equipment is manufactured for Home & Garden, DIY, construction and the agricultural market. Suitable for every application, industry and budget.
For the sale of the wheelbarrows and previously mentioned machines, Altrad Fort focuses primarily on dealers and resellers such as construction and garden markets, dealers for professionals, technical wholesalers, but also on rental companies. Altrad Fort is also a reliable partner for export.

The company Altrad Fort originates from “The Fort”. The Fort, a metalware factory in Hardinxveld-Giessendam, was founded in 1950. In 1991, FORT Kruiwagens BV moved to Tiel, and from 2009 to 2023, Herman Lindemann has been leading the company. From August 2023 Job la Rivière (managing director) and Anja de Wind (finance director) are in lead of the company.
